Commissioned by Ruby Films to produce an animated intro sequence that would explain the myth of Venus and Adonis for the short film entitled 'Venus and the Sun,' a modern day take on the famous myth, starring Keeley Hazell. Working with a fairly open brief, that only stipulated that the animation should explain the story and keep it fun, I set about finding out as much as I could about Venus, drawing all the characters, before animating it all together in After Effects. The film is released early 2011.
